It is very sad for me to read all this information. I am leaving with the problem since I was born ’til present. I am 30 years old, my parents never care about this. I have 2 kids and my oldest daughter is asking me all the time for this, she feels sad that I have this mark in my leg and I can not wear shorts on summer
(never did it) I had 4 years of laser treatment, once a month, but it didn’t work, it could be because I started late. Finally, my husband, I and our kids get to the conclusion that nothing is going to help and I will have a Tattoo soon. I am trying to read as much as I can to get a different solution before the tattoo, like surgery, but I don’t know where to go. I saw a lot of surgeons and nobody can help me. They only mention Laser Treatment but they don’t want to do surgery. My birthmark is pink, sometimes is darker like purple. It doesn’t hurt at all, it’s just ugly. I live in Morrisville, NC. (just moved from NJ) looking to get better Doctors. If you can please help me with more info. I am willing to go to any state to have a surgery instead having a tattoo. Please, please help!
